The SB01 Project

OWG SB01 project was launched in December 2007 by K+K Group of Engineers. This decision was made when the Hungarian specialists recognized that they put the goal too high with the plans of SB62. So they got back to their original ideas, and it resulted in a light, simple and much easily constructable model.  According to the plans a prototype of 0 series with 750 kg weight, with about 120 HP will be developed. That is the driving properties of SB01 strongly lag behind those of the later SB62 model, and its body works strength and safety technics will be of a much simpler construction.  However SB01 must not be confused with the Kit Cars well-known on the West-European and American markets! Even model SB01 will have much more rigid, safer and more modern frame structure than these cars.

Construction of the prototype of model SB01 will be expectedly started in summer 2010 and as we hope the two-seater cabrio can drive along the roads in spring 2011.
